A win on ferries
Great news. The NSW Government has committed to prioritising local industry in its procurement of six new Sydney Ferries vessels. Transport Minister John Robertson has promised the Government will take into account the issues raised by the AMWU in the Build Them Here campaign – that is, the economic benefit it to NSW communities of building transport infrastructure locally.
